Q: What is FuelEX?
A: FuelEX is a premium hydration powder scientifically formulated to support hydration, recovery and wellbeing. It contains essential electrolytes, minerals, vitamins, and amino acids to enhance athletic performance, endurance, and overall well-being.
Q: Who can use FuelEX?
A: FuelEX is designed for athletes, travellers, and anyone looking to stay hydrated, energised, and focused. It’s suitable for most people, especially those with active lifestyles, professionals, and frequent flyers.
Q: What is Informed Sport certification?
A: Informed Sport is a globally recognized testing and certification program specifically designed for brands that manufacture sports and nutritional supplements. Tailored to meet the needs of elite athletes, it safeguards against unintentional doping resulting from supplement contamination with prohibited substances. Consequently, it is acknowledged by sporting and governing bodies, anti-doping organizations, nutrition industry associations etc.
Each batch of our product is tested and certified by Informed Sport, giving elite athletes the peace of mind that the product has not been inadvertently contaminated with prohibited substances.
Q: Is FuelEX Informed Sport certified?
A: Yes, of course! As the target audience for FuelEX includes elite athletes, we consider it absolutely essential to have it fully tested and certified that it has not had any contamination with prohibited substances. It is our promise to you, whether you are an elite athlete or a general consumer, that the quality of our product is assured through third party testing.

Q: What are the key ingredients in FuelEX?
A: FuelEX contains:
Electrolytes (Calcium, Chloride, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium) – Essential for hydration, muscle function and nervous system.
B-Vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12) – Help reduce fatigue and support energy metabolism.
Immune-Boosting Nutrients (Vitamin C, Zinc, Selenium) – Help protect against oxidative stress and support immunity.
Amino Acids (Glutamine, Carnitine) – Aid in muscle recovery and endurance.
Q: How does FuelEX help with fatigue and recovery?
A: FuelEX includes B-Vitamins, including Niacin and Pantothenic Acid, to reduce tiredness, plus Glutamine and Carnitine to aid muscle recovery. It also contains electrolytes to support proper functioning of muscles and nervous system.
Q: Is vegetarian/vegan-friendly?
A: Yes! FuelEX is vegetarian and vegan-friendly, and does not contain any ingredient of animal origin.
Q: What is Aquamin F?
A: We used Aquamin F primarily as a source of calcium. It is rich in various minerals, and it is produced from calcareous marine algae (Lithothamnion sp.), and the seaweed is harvested from the North Atlantic seabed. It is GMO-free, allergen-free, EU health certified, GRAS approved (GRN 000028), and meet FSSC 22000 (including ISO 22000, ISO22002-1, and additional FSSC 22000 requirements), and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Travel Benefits
Q: Why is FuelEX great for travel?
A: FuelEX helps combat dehydration, fatigue, and jet lag caused by long flights and travel stress. One of our founders used to commute between Australia and Europe once a month, leaving for the airport directly after work, and going straight to work on arrival (after a shower!), and she’s definitely no stranger to the dry environment of an aeroplane.
The effects of alcohol are often exacerbated on flights due to lower oxygen level, and recent research suggests that drinking alcohol before sleeping on a flight reduce sleep quality and may even put a strain on your heart[i]. Why not replace one of your alcoholic drinks with FuelEX? It contains:
Electrolytes (Calcium, Chloride, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium) to support hydration, muscle function and nervous system.
B-Vitamins & L-Carnitine for energy and mental focus.

Q: Can I take FuelEX on a plane?
A: Yes of course! Since FuelEX is in powder form, it won’t be restricted by airport liquid limits. It only weighs 10 g per sachet, so you won’t be burdened with weight of the product either. Simply grab 500-600mL of water after security, and mix it with FuelEX to stay hydrated on your flight.
Packaging & Storage
Q: How is FuelEX packaged?
A: FuelEX comes in stick sachets in resealable ziplock bag, making it easy to store, lightweight, and mess-free. The packaging helps prevent moisture exposure, keeping the powder fresh and effective, even in wet environment like the poolside.
It comes in stick sachets with curved cut-line with narrow opening to make it easy to pour the powder into water, whether it’s a useable bottle or a commercial PET bottle, even when it’s really windy outdoor (we personally put those things to test!).
Q: Is the packaging eco-friendly?
A: Yes! By using our products in a powdered format in very compact packaging instead of pre-mixed bottles, you’re already contributing to reduction in plastic waste.
Our resealable ziplock bag uses minimal material, reducing packaging waste, and lighter and lower volume than boxes thus reducing fuel use in transport. It’s also of course reusable for storage. It is made of foil-backed plastic, which may also be recyclable depending on the recycling capability in your municipality.
Q: Why are you using plastic in your packaging? Won’t foil-backed paper do the job?
FuelEX packaging is made of foil-backed plastic, which may also be recyclable depending on the recycling capability in your municipality.
We would love to further reduce the plastic use, but foil-backed paper does not keep the moisture out well enough, especially for wet environment such as hiking in the rain or swimming, so with the current technology using plastic is necessary for product longevity and keeping it waterproof, and because wanted to avoid the use of additives such as anti-caking agent as much as possible.
But stay tuned! We are actively working with our suppliers to use even more sustainable materials in the future. Please also see the section on FuelEX Shaker Bottles, which are made of environmentally friendly Ecozen material, a biomass polymer (plant-based plastic).
Usage & Preparation
Q: How do I prepare FuelEX?
A: Simply mix one serving with 500-600mL of water and stir or shake until dissolved. You can use a reusable bottle or shop-bought bottle of water etc., but why not use our special FuelEX bottle, made from plastic waste materials that would otherwise have ended up the ocean and help the environment at the same time?
Q: Can I use FuelEX daily?
A: Yes! FuelEX is designed for daily hydration, performance support and wellbeing. However, please always follow the recommended serving guidelines, and seek medical advice if you are on medication, pregnant or breastfeeding.
FuelEX Shaker Bottles
Q: What are the advantages of using FuelEX shaker bottle with FuelEX powder?
A: We put a lot of thoughts into it when we selected the bottle, and we love it that you want to know more about it! Here is some information:
Ergonomic flip cap - you can open it one hand while holding onto the edge of the pool or even a bike handle on the other hand. User-friendly, leak-free lid was very important to us.
Hygienic / Easy to clean - Hygiene is of paramount importance, so one of our key selection criteria for the bottle was that it everything in the bottle was easy to clean. There are bottles with straws, spouts etc that are easy to drink from but difficult to clean. Because we take people's health and wellbeing seriously, we wanted it to be super hygienic, which means FuelEX branded bottles had to be easy to clean. You can easily reach every bit of every component of FuelEX bottle to clean, and it is even dishwasher-safe, so you can easily keep it clean at all times.
Ecologically sound - the bottle is made of EcoZen, a unique plant-based plastic (biomass polymer) which is FDA, LFGB and EFSA approved.
It is also of course impact-resistant, BPA-free, DEHP-free, phosphate-free, stain and odour-resistant, and leak proof.
With the agitator that comes with the bottle, you can also use it as a protein shaker, so it's a useful bottle!
Q: Is FuelEX shaker bottle dishwasher-safe?
A: Yes, it is!
Q: Do I have to use the agitator with FuelEX shaker bottle for FuelEX?
A: No, you don't need to. The agitator in FuelEX shaker bottle is detachable and you don't need to use it with FuelEX. However, agitator is advisable to use for protein shakes.
